2. Installation Position

Installed at the rear end of the engine crankshaft, located at the junction of the engine cylinder block rear end and the flywheel housing / bell housing.

It is fixed on the rear face of the engine cylinder block, surrounding the rear journal of the crankshaft, between crankshaft and flywheel assembly.

3. Function

1. Fix & Position: Precisely locate and hold the crankshaft rear oil seal, ensure the seal is installed concentrically with the crankshaft to prevent eccentric wear.
2. Oil Sealing Support: Cooperate with the rear oil seal to form a tight sealing barrier, prevent engine lubricating oil from leaking out from crankshaft rear end.
3. Dust & Foreign Matter Isolation: Block external dust, dirt and moisture from entering the engine crankcase, protecting crankshaft journal and internal engine parts.
4. Structural Reinforcement: Reinforce the structural rigidity of the rear end of cylinder block, assist in installing and positioning flywheel housing and related rear-end engine parts.
5. Lubrication System Protection: Maintain internal crankcase oil pressure and normal lubrication cycle, avoid oil loss causing insufficient lubrication.
